Madonna has 5 seniors returning for this year's wrestling season. Defending 160# WV state champ Max Nogay looks to move up to the 171 lb. weight class and Eddie Nogay (140-145), a placer at the prestigious OVAC tournament, will help fill the middle weight class.

 

     Four-year starters, Christian McGaughey (285) and Nick Nero (215) should solidify the heavier weight classes along with Harrison Central transfer Christian Roe (189). Senior Michael Kranak (152). Junior Michael Fuscardo (189) adds depth. Incoming freshmen include middle school standout and Ohio Valley champion Garrett Hypes (135).

 

   The team is coached by Mike Nogay who is assisted by former West Virginia state champions Kevin Felton (Brooke) and Jeramie Nagy (Madonna). The first scheduled action is the St. Clairsville Best Value Tournament on December 29.
