This was a very competitive weight class all year long with many wrestlers losing to wrestlers that other opponents had beaten. Making the ranking very hard to decifer. The only constant was Jared Williams Beaver Local. Once into the line up he was first in the weight class from begining to end. Cody Tominack Wheeling Park, Cody Potts Oak Glen, and Scott Antonik Bellaire, were very even last year and who every did the most in the off season could wind up winning this weight class! Daniel Howard St. Clairsville is very strong and could also chanlenge for the top spot if he keeps his head in the match. John Horn Shenandoah was a very impressive looking freshman, but is still a little rough around the edges, but has the athletic abilty to be really good.

This will be a weight class to watch next year, should be a bunch of great competition.

Also in this weight class you had 7 State Qualifiers, and 2 of those were State Placers: Jared Williams, Lisbon Beaver; Dan Howard, St. Clairsville; Steve Blake, Cameron; Adam Zucker, Magnolia; Jesse McNeely, Tyler Consolidated; Josh Ewing, John Marshall; Cody Tominack, Wheeling Park.
