Barnesville wins the AA Ohio State Tournament in 1984 out of the 215 competing schools.

Junior Tim Moxley Barnesville 6'7.5" 288 pounds, 30-0 record 26 wins by pin. Moxley pinned his way through the Ohio AA State Tournament with an injured knee!

Junior Charlie Keenan Steubenville also won an Ohio State AA title with a pin in the finals over Laszlo Szalay of Youngstown Liberty in just 1:47! Keenan was also undefeated 33-0 with 27 pins.

Freshman Paul Cofflin Cadiz finished runner up in the Ohio State AA Tournament. He boasted a 31-4 record.

West Virginia

WV had four State Champions Jim Stillwagoner of Magnolia, Senior Todd Rowe WP (A two-time Titlist at 98 Pounds); Park Junior Rich DiGiandomenico at 112, and JM Junior Mike Knox at 138.
