 The East Liverpool Middle School Wrestling team competed in a quadrangular match tonight at home against Stanton, Springfield and Follansbee. The Potters won their first match by a score of 84-3. The Potters then went on to beat Springfield 70-14. In their last match of the night, The Potters were a 47-32 winner over Follansbee. With the three wins, the Potters remained undefeated with a record of 9-0.
Leading the way for the Potters by winning all three of their matches were Mike Mercer, Vince Ours, Dylan Ice, Alex Morris, Chris Tagenhorst, Bobby McDole, and Robbie Rowe.
The young mat men will be in action again on December 28th as they host the Junior High Potter Classic. This year it will be held at the East Liverpool Middle School.

The East Liverpool Junior High Wrestling team took to the mats
today at the King of The Hill wrestling tournament held at Oak
Glen Middle School. The Potters came home with a perfect 5-0
record to win the dual meet tournament. The Potters defeated
Weirton in the first round by a score of 76-12. The Potters
then
went on to beat the Springfield in the second round by a score
of
72-17. In the third round, the Potters defeated Wellsburg by
a
score of 75-12. The fourth round, the Potters beat cross
river
rivals Oak Glen by a score of 51-29. In the fifth and final
round, the Potters defeated Indian Creek 45-42 to claim the
championship. The final match of the day and tournament
decided
the championship with East Liverpool's Rob Rowe pinning his
opponent to seal the victory.

Leading the way for the Potters by winning all five of their
matches were Preston Foster, Dylan Ice, Evan Schneider, and
Robbie
Rowe. The match of the day honors went to Oak Glen's Joel
Paolo
and East Liverpool's Dylan Ice. It was a battle of the
undefeated
wrestlers returning for their 8th grade with Ice coming out on
top
8-7.

East Liverpool (6-0) will be in action again on Wednesday at
home
with a Quad Match between Spingfield, Stanton, and Follansbee.
Action starts at 5 PM at the Middle School Gym.

The East Liverpool Middle School Wrestling team opened it's season in style by beating Steubenville Harding 64 to 18. Leading the way for the Potters by recording their first pins of the season were Anthony Anderson, Vince Ours, Preston Foster, Dylan Ice, Chris Tagenhorst, Dylan Jones, Jacob Davis, Bobby McDole, and Robbie Rowe. Winning their match by decision were Michael Mercer, Alex Morris and Anthony Ours. The Potters will be in action again this Saturday at the Oak Glen Duals.

The Potters won by a score of 67-18 to raise their dual meet record to 10-0 on the season. Winning their match by pin were Vince Ours and Dylan Ice. Dylan Jones won by major decision and Anthony Ours won by decision. TJ Densmore, Anthony Anderson, Josh Davis, Preston Foster, Michael Buchheit, Chris Tagenhorst, Ryan Milan, and Bobby McDole won their match by forfeit. The Potters will be action again next Friday and Saturday for the OVAC Tournament held at Union Local.
