Mitch Costa Edison flew under my radar a bit even though he had an undefeated record. He proved it was no fluke with a title. Josh Cologie Buckeye Local made his first appearance in the finals and I expect to see him back in the finals next season as well. Jason Wright River wrestled a very good tournament and continued his winning ways with a trip to Columbus. My number two choice David Foltz Oak Glen ended an excellent senior year with a second place finish at the State Tournament. Adam Gibson Wheeling Park a surprise placer also went on to improve with a trip to the State Tournament. Artis Johnson Bellaire the only sophomore to place will be one to watch next season. James Beach Steubenville, and Dusty McVay Union Local ended excellent wrestling careers. Keep an eye on Kyle Reeder Beaver Local!
