Dustin Richey John Marshall made his third trip to the finals and it was the charm. Dustin Claimed his OVAC title and a State title also. Jeff Cumpston Cameron not to be out done claimed his own State Title in WV. What a finals match the big and small school state champions to be. Bud Hines Barnesville a very physical wrestler showed this weightclass was not done with placers yet, as he went on to finished sixth. Luke Waren Martins Ferry finished a super senior year qualifying for the state tournament. Billy Frollini Shadyside finished a little lower then expected but did finish out a tremendous high school career. Cody Miller Oak Glen was a freshman in a very tough weightclass loaded with older wrestlers. He will be a corner stone for the bears in years to come shown by his fourth place finish at the state tournament. Jonathan Stewart Edison the second of three younger wrestlers looks to improve on his sixth place finish. Kirk Wetherell Cambridge is the last young wrestler to make his mark, I expect to see him at a higher weight next season, but the success to continue. Keep an eye on Dan Dunn Beaver Local, Robbie Rossiter Shenandoah, and Junior Yost Tyler Consolidated.

Welcome to OVAeC Wrestling!

(Ohio Valley Athletic ex Coach) The purpose of this web site is to promote O.V.A.C. wrestling and the individuals that make it all possible. I don't proclaim to know everything about the
O.V.A.C.'s or wrestling, but I have coached in the O.V.A.C.'s for the past 8 years so I do have some knowledge of the sport, coaches and the wrestlers(2002).
