Joe Skoff St. John my number one pick all season did not compete at the OVAC's, stopping his two year run in the finals. With the top spot up for grabs Justin Seebach Caldwell snatched it up. Justin yet another Florida wrestler this summer has one of the most unorthodox wrestling styles there is. He also has some of the best hips I have seen in a wrestler, he always ends up on top after a scramble. Justin did however end up second once but that was in the State Tournament Finals! Luke Hoppel Beaver Local yet another great wrestler with an even greater wrestling Family. Luke finished one match away from qualifying for States and was a four time OVAC placer. Clyde Jordan Indian Creek an athletic wrestler with much upside potential will be another Creek wrestler returning. Andy Stine Edison a wrestler with a great physical capability had a tremendous freshman season and will be one to watch next year. Lee Doyle John Marshal, Jason Jones Martins Ferry, Justin Cataldo Wellsville all ended their senior years with stellar careers. Lee placed fifth in the state and Justin finished with over 100 wins. Zach Six Oak Glen showed that the Bears still have good talent coming up. Keep an eye on  Teague Cambridge, and Nelson Wheeling Park.

Welcome to OVAeC Wrestling!

(Ohio Valley Athletic ex Coach) The purpose of this web site is to promote O.V.A.C. wrestling and the individuals that make it all possible. I don't proclaim to know everything about the
O.V.A.C.'s or wrestling, but I have coached in the O.V.A.C.'s for the past 8 years so I do have some knowledge of the sport, coaches and the wrestlers(2002).
