What an entertaining weight class! A rematch from last years OVAC 103 pound finals. This year Ronnie Green Wheeling Park gets revenge over James Myers Indian Creek. Green then went on to lose his varsity spot at 119 to team mate Rush. This did not stop Green though as we went up to win the WV State title at 125! Myers second OVAC finals in as many years, shows his toughness. Myers went on to be District Champion in Steubenville. I see both of theses wrestlers in the 130's-140's next year. Tim Cumpston Cameron knows how to finish a senior with a WV State title of his own at 119. Derik Caudill Beaver Local a finalist at the Steubenville Districts improved all year and should be one of the best light weights in the valley next year. Brandon Davis Oak Glen also  knows how to get to the finals losing to Cumpston for second place. Davis is another bear coming back next season. Derrick Holt Martins Ferry had a average record at the OVAC seeding meeting, but finished with a trip to Columbus in the end. Yet another great Ferry wrestler in the making?  Dustin Daugherty Cambridge, Justin Rossiter Meadowbrook both seniors next year should have solid years in the lower weight classes. James McFarland Brooke a match away from placing went on to claim 6th at the WV State Tournament. Eric Moore Harrison Central is yet another wrestler to watch.

Welcome to OVAeC Wrestling!

(Ohio Valley Athletic ex Coach) The purpose of this web site is to promote O.V.A.C. wrestling and the individuals that make it all possible. I don't proclaim to know everything about the
O.V.A.C.'s or wrestling, but I have coached in the O.V.A.C.'s for the past 8 years so I do have some knowledge of the sport, coaches and the wrestlers(2002).
