My Rankings (Before OVAC)
OVAC Seeds
OVAC Place finishers 2004 Seed in ( )
Cody Potts Oak Glen I had second all season because of Leach's finals appearance last year. Cody showed me and everyone else he was number 1, not only at the O.V.A.C.'s but at the State Tournament as well. He will be my number 1 choice this year. Cody Leach Shenandoah fought injuries all season but was still very competitive. He finished his senior year with a trip to the State Tournament. Brandon Bovina Indian Creek was a stand out heavy weight in Jr. High and showed last year he has matured into a stud 215 pounder. Brandon will be a force to be reckoned with in the coming year. Brad Hannahs Barnesville a feisty wrestler finished off his senior year with his second O.V.A.C. placement. Jimmy Bowersock Beaver Local made a splash at 215 with a fourth place finish at M.I.T., and a trip to the State tournament. Jimmy should continue to make waves this season! Andrew Corder Harrison Central another Sophomore has great hips and body control. He entered the OVAC's with a 4-3 record. Dirk Soland Bellaire looks to build off of his 8th place finish. James Harris Buckeye Local is another name to watch for next season. Also in this weight class you had 7 State Qualifiers, and 1 of those were State Placers and 1 State Champion: Jimmy Bowersock, Lisbon Beaver, (10), Brandon Bovina, Wintersville Indian Creek, (11), Codey Leach, Sarahsville Shenandoah, (12), Cody Potts, Oak Glen, 11, Dan Dishman, Cameron, 9, Elijah Richie, Tyler Consolidated, 11, Bud Hercules, Wheeling Park,12.
